Two Talented Members!

LWVGV wants to share that two of its members recently participated in Summer Wedding productions of the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre.
Kathryn Vogel wrote and directed a short one-act play The Driving Factors, about an older woman deciding whether to proceed with her late-in-life second wedding.
"Whether or not to get married is a big decision at any age," says Kate. On a personal note she adds that yes she is "closing in on the big 8-0... and yes in my writing group we talk about these things."
Nel Burkett was the star of another one act wedding play, titled Maid of Horror. Nel joined LWVGV in 2020 and has been working in the Gunnison Valley for 10 years including several years volunteering with the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre.
