Voter information is what we’re all about! LWVGV Voter Services Team has set up three events for October.

LWVGV Ballot Issues Forum

Tuesday October 12 at 7 pm is LWVGV Ballot Issues Forum held by Zoom. Legislative Team has reviewed each local ballot issue and carefully prepared information on what a Yes vote or a No vote means.

The event will be conducted by Zoom format online in the LWVGV Meeting Room and will be recorded and made available to all on website lwvgunnison.org.

Did you know the local Gunnison and Crested Butte ballot questions are available for viewing now on our home page? Go to lwvgunnison.org and click on Local or State Ballot Issues under Gunnison County Elections Office.

The Ballot Issues Forum Tuesday evening will be the October general meeting.

Crested Butte News Candidate Forum

LWVGV Voter Services will be on hand at 6 pm Sunday October 17 at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts. The candidate forum for Crested Butte Mayor and City Council races is sponsored by The Crested Butte News.

LWVGV will hold a voter information table in the CFA lobby ahead of the forum to answer questions and provide information on mail ballot drop boxes, polling locations and ballot issues for Crested Butte and Gunnison elections.

LWVGV Moderates Senior Center Candidate Forum

Wednesday October 20 from 12:45 to 2 pm is the Gunnison candidates forum at the Senior Center located in the Gunnison County Recreation Center, 205 E. Spencer, Gunnison.

The forum is sponsored by the Senior Center and will be moderated by LWVGV including Donna Nielsen, Facilitator. The public is welcome at this and all voter information events.
